The MPM Master Project Manager has overall project responsibility. In order to achieve success, the Project Manager should work closely with the Sponsor with respect to staffing requirements and funding availability. The Project Manager is responsible for completing the project on time, within budget, and meeting the quality criteria and requirements.
The Project Manager should be assigned as early as possible in the life cycle of the project in order to establish project ownership and management responsibility as well as to begin the development of the project requirements from the “ground up.”
